Frequently asked questions about our fishing trips.
What is included in the trip price?+
All trips include rods, reels & tackle, live bait, catch cleaning & filleting, your fishing license, and lunch. The boat is also equipped with GPS, fishfinder, radar, snorkeling equipment, a live bait well, ice box, and fish cooler bag.
What are the trip rates?+
We offer a 7 Hour Trip at US $408 for the entire boat (up to 4 passengers). The trip departs at 6:00 AM.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 7 days prior to your trip. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
How does payment work?+
Book with a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation. The remaining balance is paid directly to the captain on or prior to your trip date. Cash is accepted.
What fish can I target?+
Depending on the season and conditions, you can target Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Horse-eye Jack, Yellowtail Amberjack, and more. Captain Reynaldo has logged many hours on these tides and knows where to find them.
What types of fishing do you offer?+
We offer nearshore and offshore fishing. Techniques include bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and fly fishing. If you'd like to fly fish, you may need to bring your own fly gear.
What should I bring?+
Sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. If you have dietary needs for lunch, reach out in advance.
Can I keep my catch?+
Yes! Clients decide if they keep the catch. Catch and release is also allowed. Your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you.
Tell me about the boat.+
You'll step aboard a 25' Panga (center console) built by Embarcaciones Álvarez in 2024. It has capacity for 4 passengers, powered by a Mercury 1 x 150HP engine with a max cruising speed of 35 knots. Amenities include GPS, fishfinder, radar, snorkeling equipment, live bait well, ice box, and fish cooler bag.
Is a fishing license required?+
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat — just come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Is pickup or transport included?+
Pickup is not included in trip rates. You'll need to arrange your own transportation to the departure site in Loreto.
